Re-Registration & Cancellation Policy
Confirmed workshop (in-person or virtual) or webinar registrations are non-refundable. Registrants unable to attend a scheduled workshop or webinar will be issued a Re-registration Voucher valid for one year from the date of the event. A refund will not be issued for absence from a live workshop (in-person or virtual) or webinar. The voucher may be used to register for a future NETA workshop or webinar of the same format and duration.
Alternately, if absent from a Group Exercise Instructor or Personal Trainer Review workshop, the participant may apply the voucher toward registration for a virtual review workshop and/or the “Test Only” option for the Group Exercise Instructor or Personal Trainer certification exam administered via remote online proctoring services provided by ProctorU. A $99 re-registration fee will apply.
Registrants may transfer their registration to another workshop or webinar according to the following re-registration fee schedule:
Re-registration fee for 1 hour workshop or webinar: $10
Re-registration fee for 3 hour workshop or webinar: $25
Re-registration fee for workshops greater than 3 hours: $59
In the event that NETA must cancel a live workshop due to inclement weather, low enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, registrants will be notified of the cancellation by phone and email with as much advanced notice as possible. The registrant will be offered the opportunity to re-register for a future workshop at no additional charge, or will be entitled to a full refund of the registration fee. Registrants who must travel a great distance and who may incur travel and lodging expenses are advised to call NETA customer service to confirm the status of a workshop prior to making travel arrangements. NETA will not reimburse travel-related expenses incurred due to a cancelled workshop.

Test-Only Refund Policy
The registration fee for computer-based certification exams (e.g., Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Wellness Coach) is fully refundable within 30 days of the date of purchase. Refund requests received greater than 30 days from the date of purchase are eligible for a 50% refund of the exam registration fee. The certification exam must be scheduled within one year from the date of purchase. Exam registration fees are non-refundable after one year from the date of purchase. The exam registration fee is not refundable once the exam has been completed.
Merchandise Returns
Damaged or defective merchandise will be immediately exchanged with the same item within 30 days of receipt.
Returned items must be received within 30 days from the date of shipment. Items received after this date will not be accepted. All returned items must be in the original packing, and be in a marketable condition. All returned items must be sent to the address below. Shipping and handling will not be reimbursed. Customer’s will be responsible for shipping and handling for exchanges. Please allow 15 days to process your refund or exchange.
Exam preparatory materials (e.g., Manual, Workbook, Practice Exam) may not be returned after the candidate has attended the review workshop or webinar and/or attempted the certification exam. Home study courses may not be returned after the customer has completed the home study exam.

Early Bird Fees
To qualify for the Early Bird discount on Certification Workshops, your workshop fee must be postmarked, phoned, or faxed at least 30 days prior to the workshop date.
On-Site Registration
Add $10 to Standard Fee. Accepted on space available basis only. Workshops are subject to cancellation. Please call NETA the Thursday before the workshop if you plan to register on-site or if you are traveling long distances.
