Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MYCAA)
NETA has been a participant in the Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) since its inception. The program provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to spouses of active-duty military and activated National Guard and Reserve members pursuing certification programs. NETA’s Certified Personal Trainer program is approved, and the cost is 100% paid by MYCAA. The program also offers scholarships for other NETA programs on a case by case basis. NETA has provided Group Exercise Certification and Specialty Certifications including; Indoor Cycle, Senior Fitness, Barre, Kettlebell through the MYCAA program.

The Army has provided Tuition Assistance for years to soldiers to pursue traditional degree programs. Recently they’ve moved to offer credentialing assistance for soldiers who want to obtain certifications or re-certify in specific areas. The program is in its infancy but already folks are taking advantage of it.
NETA’s Certified Personal Trainer Certification (CPT) is approved for the Credentialing Assistance Program.
