Home Study Continuing Education

Ongoing career education helps facilitate your professional development, expand your knowledge, sharpen your skills and advance your position in the fitness industry. So, NETA offers a wide variety of continuing education home study formats that meet the demands of busy fitness professionals. In addition to our live hands-on workshops and NETA Fit Fest™ events, our certified personal trainers and group exercise instructors can also earn continuing education credits (CECs) from the comfort of their home – or anywhere else. Our extensive library includes traditional print format courses, as well as an ever-expanding selection of online courses and e-learning modules.

Please note, the continuing education credits (CECs) earned for a specific home study course or exam, as identified by the unique course number, may be applied only once toward the renewal of a specific NETA certification. For more information regarding CEC limitations, please see page 5 of NETA’s Recertification Handbook. Prior to ordering a home study course or exam, please review your NETA account to ensure you have not previously completed the course.
