Athletes of all ages and sport domains are seeking ways to maximize potential and elevate performance. A regular yoga practice can enhance athletic performance by increasing mobility and range of motion, igniting enhanced recovery after training, improving efficiency of breath, and inviting mental stamina and focus. Participants in this workshop will learn the physical, physiological, and psychological benefits yoga can explicitly provide athletes; programming and progression for specific sports; and how to engage and connect with coaches, athletic teams, and individual competitors.
*Yoga for Athletes is NOT a part of the NETA 200 Hour Yoga Program curriculum, and may only be used for continuing education credits
